Oh look , it’s Э o’clock

Since they’re all yes/no bets, 52% seems reasonable… except
In most markets […] 14% of longshot trades bought the winning outcome
…yeah 52% is way too high in comparison to be natural.

This can’t possibly be profitable for the scammers.

And in REALLY cold weather they literally idle them continuously, because if they get that cold they will not start at all.
And if you get stuck out in the woods, you have to literally light a fire under your engine to warm it up enough.
But I think they’re just talking about regular cold weather, like Minnesota. Trying to use an EV in the really cold places is just a bad idea.

They should just not allow AI “artists” at all.

I know no country on earth that doesn’t have this problem.

If you spend that much effort, you might just do it without AI. Same amount of work, and you know it’s not going to have non-deterministic behavior.

I think you have something backwards. When the cost to ship trash code trends to zero, the profit trends to infinity.

So, just like any team project.

Frame interpolation is pretty good. It can take a 10fps gif and interpolate to a pretty good 60fps. The color and resolution is still crap, though.

Those are all great habits.
But the time spent doing that is time not shipping code. Most companies don’t give a flying fuck about quality, they just want to ship as much as possible to make as much money as possible.

No, they’re headquartered in Redmond.

It’s possible it was something misconfigured, a poorly-written script, or a bug in some software causing unexpected behavior. At the scale of the Internet, all of those are very possible.
It could also be the Internet equivalent of a numbers station.

I’m sure the Microsoft lawyers went over it thoroughly first. They are very concerned with licenses for things that are to be open-sourced.

They’re not even pretending. The algorithm says the most likely response to “you fucked up” is “I’m sorry”, so that’s what it prints. There’s zero psychological simulation going on, only statistical text generation.
It’s hard to determine whether something is slop before you buy it.
