That depends on the platform. There are things I want from social media in my life. Facebook isn’t giving me that anymore so I mostly left. I still miss the gap in my life from not knowing what my old/distant friends and family are doing (closer friends/family I call)
Funny enough, my friends rarely post or I’m not interested in them going out to whatever bar and posted selfies. So keeping up with them is the least interesting aspect of facebook. It’s sort of replaced some of the hobby group forums I used to be a part of. If you can find well moderated groups it’s pretty decent. Just hafta viciously hide ads and FB becomes reasonable to use.
They probably went to other social media platforms. Not really a win.
