It can be done, but it takes some doing, and then you are in Reddit, so what’s the point. It jumped the shark long time ago.
Valid question - they track whether you’re logging in from a device associated with [banned account], an IP associated with [Banned account], using the same patterns of behaviour as [Banned Account]. I can no longer be bothered enough to try.
I think my best bet would be to log in on my study laptop at uni or a public library, which would be a killer for productivity.
