I don’t understand why the outsourcing firm was punished. As far as I can tell, a thousand people are losing their jobs for no reason. This wasn’t their fault, and I don’t see what problem is being solved here. It makes absolutely no sense.
It’s not difficult to understand really. These underpaid slaves failed their task by having morals and complaining too much so they’re off to find other slaves that keep quiet…

Meta punishing whistleblowers for doing what Meta hired them to do.

Ah. I didn’t realize that Meta considered them “whistleblowers”. It’s still a shitty thing to do, but shitty is what corporations excel at.
